Dr. Tamara Bill Fernandes, DDS
In our general dentistry practice we strive to take care of all our patients’ needs at the highest of standards. We do a complete exam and charting on every new patient in our practice. We perform composite, tooth colored fillings; lab crowns and Cerec crowns that are done in our office in one appointment; and cosmetic dentistry including veneers and whitening. The specialty procedures that we perform, such as endodontics (root canals), oral surgery (extractions), and periodontics (treatment of the gums including laser treatments, if indicated) are performed to the same standards as the specialists. Even though our office is “high tech” (completely computerized and paperless, 4 different lasers, digital x-rays, intra-oral cameras to put pictures of the teeth on a computer screen where they can be seen), we enjoy most the personal side of dentistry: getting to know our patients, educating, and forming relationships. We are known for our pain-free dentistry, a reputation we work hard to maintain.
Sedona Dental Arts has a rich history in Sedona and the Verde Valley. Dr. David and Jennette Bill grew up in Sedona and the Verde Valley. They returned to Sedona in 1988 to raise their children and become involved in the community they loved. The Bill’s daughter, Dr. Fernandes (known as Dr. Tamara in the practice) grew up in Sedona, attended the University of Arizona, and the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Her view of the dental practice says best what we stand for. “It is a practice which has all the high tech procedures and equipment that we learned about in dental school and yet it is very patient focused…very caring, quality focused, and like family taking care of family.”
