Mr. Ramsey has been in business for over 28 years and he and his company Architectural and Environmental Associates, Inc. (AEA) have over one hundred years of experience in the field of green, sustainable, high performance Architectural Design and related environmental areas.
AEA’s green Architecture Design includes designing numerous buildings in accordance with U. S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED standards and participating in the USGBC LEED for Homes Pilot Demonstration Program.
AEA is designing and constructing a LEED – Pilot Home that includes: a photovoltaic (PV) solar system, passive solar collection system, a wind turbine, gray water usage, water catchment system, low water use plumbing fixtures, house ventilation tower system, Geo Thermal radiant flooring heating and cooling system, permatculture landscaping and sun room, E-Crete walls, SIPS panel roof, earth plaster finish on walls, paper stone counter tops, stained concrete floors, recycled glass shower panel/tiles, certified wood framing, and numerous other stainable, green, high performance building features.
